As part of my teaching practice, I prepared this e-content on Social Responsibilities of Business to help students understand that business is not only about earning profit. Business uses resources from society, so it has a duty to serve society. In this content, I explained that social responsibility means running business in an ethical way while caring for people and the environment. I included the responsibilities of business towards owners, employees, families, consumers, government, and society. Fair wages, safe working conditions, quality products, honest tax payment, and environmental protection were highlighted. Through this e-content, I aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of responsible business behaviour. Preparing this content helped me realise that ethical and socially responsible businesses contribute to sustainable development and social welfare.

I reached school today morning at 8:30 AM. After settling down, I prepared my lesson plan for the day. Once done, I went to the principal’s office and signed the morning attendance register. Soon after, the school prayer began, followed by the “Thought for the Day.” As part of the Career FM session, today’s topic was “Data Science.” The audio shared details about what data science is, the courses available in this field, and the wide range of job opportunities it offers. It was quite informative and helpful for students to understand future career paths. After the session, regular classes began. I was allotted the 6th period for Class C1 to take Business Studies. I entered the class with my prepared lesson plan and felt confident. The class went smoothly and students responded well. Today, I gave back the corrected papers to the students. It was nice to see their reactions — some were happy, and others checked their mistakes carefully. I explained the common errors and gave tips for im...

Innovative Work: Formation of a Company

Image
Innovation in teaching lies in transforming complex theoretical concepts into meaningful learning experiences. This innovative 3D model on the Formation of a Company is designed to simplify the legal and procedural aspects of company formation through visual and activity-based learning. The model systematically presents each stage—Business Idea and Promotion, Name Approval, Preparation of MOA & AOA, and Registration leading to the Certificate of Incorporation. Instead of learning these steps as isolated definitions, students are able to visualize the continuity and logical progression involved in the formation of a company. The use of creative materials, miniature figures, and clearly labelled stages captures students’ attention and encourages curiosity. This hands-on approach enhances conceptual clarity, promotes better retention, and supports learner engagement. It also caters to diverse learning styles by combining visual, kinesthetic, and cognitive elements. Through this ...

Cognitive map

cognitive map presents information using diagrams, keywords, arrows, and images. It supports active learning and encourages students to think critically rather than memorise facts. Cognitive Map on Formation of a Company This cognitive map explains the stages involved in the formation of a company in a clear and structured manner. The process begins with Promotion, where a business idea is discovered and feasibility studies are conducted. The promoter takes initiative, arranges resources, and prepares necessary documents. Next comes Incorporation, which is the legal registration of the company. At this stage, documents like the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA) are filed, and the Certificate of Incorporation is obtained. This gives the company a separate legal identity. The third stage is Capital Subscription, where the company raises funds by issuing shares and collecting capital from investors. Finally, the Commencement of Business stage marks th...

One side of the model highlights environmental problems such as air pollution, industrial waste, excessive vehicle use, and climate imbalance, reminding us of the harmful impact of human activities on Earth. The distressed planet and dark visuals clearly portray the urgency of environmental protection. In contrast, the other side represents hope and sustainability through green energy sources like solar panels and windmills, tree plantation, clean surroundings, and happy human life.
