8th week practice September 08- September 12

Week Eight: Back to the classroom with renewed spirit after Onam, stepping forward with fresh lessons and brighter moments.

After the long Onam vacation, the school reopened with renewed energy. I was assigned new duties and began teaching the chapter on Social Responsibility of Business and Business Ethics in the Plus One (C1) Business Studies class. Through lesson plans and reflective journals, the week started with a lively focus on academics. Students engaged in discussions on the meaning and importance of social responsibility, and I used real-life examples and case studies to connect theory with practice. Sessions on business ethics further highlighted the value of ethical behaviour in building trust and ensuring long-term success, with students actively identifying ethical and unethical practices in different situations.

In connection with the B.Ed curriculum, a quiz competition was organized for C1 students. The participants showed great enthusiasm, and the winners were appreciated in class, which motivated others to participate more actively in future activities. The healthy spirit of competition enriched classroom learning and created a joyful environment.

During the Physical Education period, we conducted recreational games that promoted teamwork and cooperation among students. Alongside this, we introduced Surya Namaskar, explaining its steps and benefits to raise awareness about its role in maintaining both physical fitness and mental well-being. The students found these activities refreshing, and they added variety to the week’s routine.

A proud highlight of the week was when our respected principal, Nowfal Sir, received the State Award for Best Teacher  from the Hon’ble Education Minister. To celebrate the honour, Nowfal Sir hosted a gathering for teachers and shared payasam with the children, filling the campus with happiness. The week also included a farewell for transferred teachers and a welcome for newly joined faculty members, adding both emotion and excitement to school life. Altogether, the week was filled with focused teaching practice, engaging activities, and joyful celebrations, making it a memorable part of my journey.

Another chapter of teaching practice written with dedication and pride.
