Schoolyard Stories – Phase 2: Week 1
The second phase of practice teaching began with renewed excitement and confidence. On the first day, we met the Principal and handed over the official letter. We also signed the attendance register in his presence, marking the formal beginning of this new phase.
In the school, a spacious reading room was specially allotted for us, which soon became our hub of ideas and teamwork. It was there that we prepared lesson plans, created teaching aids, discussed classroom strategies, and reflected on our teaching experiences each day.
After that, we proceeded to our allotted classroom, Plus One Commerce (C1), where students greeted us warmly. It was a joyful moment to meet them again after a short break.
During the week, we prepared our teaching aids, revised lesson plans, and began handling classes according to the allotted portions. The lessons were started with enthusiasm, and the students actively participated in discussions and classroom activities.
The school closed early on one of the days due to the sub Jilla kalolsav , giving us time to plan and update our teaching records. The week also witnessed a Ranger–Rover camp and a free eye testing programme conducted for students, which added a meaningful co-curricular touch to the school environment.
Overall, the first week of the second phase of practice teaching was marked by warm interactions, active classroom participation, and a refreshing start to our teaching journey once again.
