SCHOOL INDUCTION SECOND DAY "Learning to teach, observing real-world lessons."

"Observing GST and Banking lessons as part of our Commerce B.Ed. training, learning effective teaching methods for complex topics."

As Commerce B.Ed. teacher students, during our observation of the teacher's class, we had the opportunity to learn how subjects like Accounting (specifically GST) and Business Studies (Banking) are taught in a classroom setting.

In the Accounting class on GST, we observed how the teacher explained the basics of Goods and Services Tax, its types (CGST, SGST, IGST), and how it affects businesses. The teacher used charts, real-world examples, and practical exercises to help students understand GST calculations and filing processes. We also noticed how the teacher engaged students through questions, discussions, and case studies to make the topic more interactive and understandable.

In the Business Studies class on Banking, the teacher explained the different types of banks, their role in the economy, and the services they provide. We saw how the teacher used examples, group discussions, and practical exercises to clarify banking concepts. The teacher also used tools like bank statements or role-playing activities to help students understand banking operations. This observation helped us understand how to make complex topics more engaging and relatable for our future students.
