Creative hands, cultural hearts – our Gond Art journey.

Today, our Art Sir came with a new activity in art class where we explored Gond Art, a traditional tribal art form of India. He explained its features — use of bright colours, dots, and lines, mostly inspired by nature and animals.

We drew simple designs like birds, trees, and fish on small cloth pieces and filled them with colourful patterns using fabric paints. It was a new and enjoyable experience to paint on cloth instead of paper.

The activity helped us learn about Indian folk culture and also improved our creativity and concentration. We really enjoyed the session.
