Last week

On one of the days, a school function was conducted smoothly, creating an organized and positive atmosphere. On the following day, the first-year science students began their final practical examinations. As I did not have regular classes on that day, I spent time observing different classes, which helped me understand various teaching methods and classroom management strategies. I also conducted an achievement test for the students, making the day productive and academically meaningful.

journey of growth, reflection, and purpose

The lastjourney of growth, reflection, and purpos day of my teaching practice at G HSS Kilimanoor marked the conclusion of a truly enriching and memorable journey. As I walked into the classroom for the final time, a deep sense of gratitude and fulfillment filled my heart. What began as a phase of observation and uncertainty gradually transformed into confidence, competence, and meaningful connections with students. Throughout this teaching practice, every lesson delivered became an opportunity to learn and grow as a prospective teacher. The use of innovative teaching methods, activity-based learning, and creative teaching aids helped make classroom interactions more engaging and effective. Observing students actively participate, respond positively, and show curiosity towards learning was the most rewarding aspect of this experience. This journey also presented challenges such as classroom management, time constraints, and addressing diverse learning abilities. However, these cha...

Innovative Work: Formation of a Company

Image
Innovation in teaching lies in transforming complex theoretical concepts into meaningful learning experiences. This innovative 3D model on the Formation of a Company is designed to simplify the legal and procedural aspects of company formation through visual and activity-based learning. The model systematically presents each stage—Business Idea and Promotion, Name Approval, Preparation of MOA & AOA, and Registration leading to the Certificate of Incorporation. Instead of learning these steps as isolated definitions, students are able to visualize the continuity and logical progression involved in the formation of a company. The use of creative materials, miniature figures, and clearly labelled stages captures students’ attention and encourages curiosity. This hands-on approach enhances conceptual clarity, promotes better retention, and supports learner engagement. It also caters to diverse learning styles by combining visual, kinesthetic, and cognitive elements. Through this ...

Cognitive map

cognitive map presents information using diagrams, keywords, arrows, and images. It supports active learning and encourages students to think critically rather than memorise facts. Cognitive Map on Formation of a Company This cognitive map explains the stages involved in the formation of a company in a clear and structured manner. The process begins with Promotion, where a business idea is discovered and feasibility studies are conducted. The promoter takes initiative, arranges resources, and prepares necessary documents. Next comes Incorporation, which is the legal registration of the company. At this stage, documents like the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA) are filed, and the Certificate of Incorporation is obtained. This gives the company a separate legal identity. The third stage is Capital Subscription, where the company raises funds by issuing shares and collecting capital from investors. Finally, the Commencement of Business stage marks th...

Weekly Reflection – Second Phase of Teaching Practice 6th week

During this week, there were not many special programmes, and regular academic activities were carried out smoothly. A Personal PTA meeting was conducted, and we actively took part in it, which helped us understand students’ progress and interact closely with parents. On the following day, a combination of accounts work was carried out, and we assisted a senior teacher who was facing some health issues and other difficulties. It was a meaningful experience to offer support and cooperation. The next day was observed as a celebration day in the school, bringing joy and enthusiasm among students and staff. On another day, the NSS conducted social service activities, where the AES volunteer team provided free assistance and support to four families. Towards the end of the week, students began practicing for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations, creating a spirit of patriotism and active participation across the campus.

Weekly Reflection – Second Phase of Teaching Practice

After our semester examination, we began the second phase of our teaching practice on 1st January 2023. The school conducted a programme focusing on positivity, which created a motivating and refreshing atmosphere for both teachers and students. On the following day, regular academic classes resumed along with a reminder PT session, and we also actively took part in it. On the next day, the practical examination was conducted in the school, adding to the academic seriousness and engagement of the week.
