Second Phase 1st week Teaching Practice
During the first week of teaching practice, I familiarised myself with the school environment, classroom setting, and students. I observed the regular classroom activities and teaching styles followed by the teachers. The students were cooperative and attentive, which helped in building initial rapport. Classroom interaction was encouraged through simple questioning, and students responded positively. This week helped me understand the importance of classroom management, clear communication, and student engagement. Observing experienced teachers provided valuable insights into effective teaching practices, lesson organisation, and maintaining discipline. Overall, the first week was a meaningful learning experience that helped me gain confidence and prepare myself for active teaching in the coming weeks.
