Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 is a nationwide campaign launched by the Government of India, aimed at promoting cleanliness and sanitation. The initiative encourages people to take an active role in cleaning their surroundings, raising awareness about the importance of hygiene, and maintaining a cleaner environment. The campaign usually runs around the time of the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations in October, focusing on both urban and rural areas, encouraging communities, educational institutions, and organizations to engage in cleaning drives and other cleanliness-related activities. In 2024, Swachhata Hi Seva continues to be an important reminder of our collective responsibility to keep our surroundings clean, protect public health, and contribute to a more sustainable and healthy future for all.  Heavy rains in Wayanad, Kerala, triggered severe flooding in the Chooralmala region, leading to landslides, damaged infrastructure, and the displacement of many residents. The floodwaters caused widespread destruction to homes and crops, disrupting daily life in the area. As part of the National Service Scheme (NSS), we are actively raising funds to support the flood victims in Wayanad. Our efforts aim to provide essential relief materials such as food, shelter, and medical aid to those affected by the disaster.

"Serving the Nation, Shaping the Future – Happy NSS Day!" NSS Day is celebrated on September 24th every year to mark the establishment of the National Service Scheme (NSS) in 1969. The day aims to promote community service, social responsibility, and volunteerism among students. It encourages individuals to contribute to the welfare of society through various social and environmental activities.  On NSS Day, we came together to celebrate the spirit of service by participating in a cleaning drive and tree planting activity. The cleaning drive helped make our campus and surroundings more beautiful, while planting trees contributed to a greener and healthier environment. It was a meaningful way to honor the values of National Service Scheme and work towards a sustainable future. NSS Day inspires us to contribute to society through service and volunteerism.
